How to obtain information about Polish company?

Polish public business register’s

If you have basic data of the company you are interested in (name, NIP, REGON, KRS number), you can easily and quickly check it on the Internet using the generally available basic registers:
 
  • companies of natural persons (sole proprietorship and partners in civil law partnerships) can be found in the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG) – Search for a company in CEIDG
  • commercial law companies (including limited liability companies and registered partnerships) can be found in the National Court Register (KRS) – Search for a company in the National Court Register
  • civil law partnerships (if you do not find current data in CEIDG) can be found in the REGON register.
     

Ministry of Finance tax portal

Check whether the contractor is an active VAT payer or verify that the tax identification number (NIP) is correct, invalidated, revoked or does not exist – Tax portal
 
The Ministry of Finance also launched a list of entities that were not registered, removed from or reinstated in the register as VAT payers. That list shall contain complete information on the entity, such as removal from and reinstatement in the register – search for a company in the list.
 
If you want to confirm/check your EU VAT number – search for EU VAT.
